The European scene of postpornographic storytelling is not homogeneous: in accordance with geographic location and – more importantly – local biopolitics, the films produced in different countries do not only operate distinct, highly interesting languages, but they also employ diverse visual poetics. This year – by courtesy of Menelas Siafakas, the founder of the Athens Porn Film Festival – we have an opportunity to look at some of what unfolds in the south of Europe – Greece. Have a close look at the captivating Greek his/her/theystories, trace cultural tropes and references.
