PROGRAM PPAF 2024

POST PORN ARTS FEST, “RESISTANCE. VISIBILITY. PLEASURE” is a visual arts festival that focuses on contemporary sexuality, body positivity, biopolitics, and censorship and addresses these themes by means of the languages of artistic, queer, and feminist postpornography.

Political oppression and constrained sexuality juxtaposed with pleasure, visibility, and rebellious strategies of resistance.

As part of PPAF, we will show over 200 films organized into several thematic sections.

An essential feature of the festival will be the following selections of films and shorts put together by invited curators:

• “Legacies of Resistance” – feature-length films referencing the history of queer and postporn culture, curated by Jurgen Bruning and Walter Crasshole from Pornfilmfestival Berlin.
• “Ritual Traffic: New Chilean Porn Returns to Warsaw” & “Critical Pornographies from Abya Yala” – the selections orbiting postporn art from South America, curated by Nikola Rios.
• “Sluts on Screen” – a selection focused on decolonizing sex work strategies curated by Maria Riot, Ornelia Bodratto and Nicola Rios.
• “This Is (Not) Gay Porn” – a subversive view of gay postporn, curated by JorgeTheObscene and Nicola Rios.
• “Cinematopornographic Inspirations” – a selection of short films curated by JorgeTheObscene.
• “Best of Greek Porn” – a selection of Greek films, curated by Menalas Siafakas.

The remainder of the festival’s programme was curated by Aga Szreder and Rafal Żwirek.
