We are launching our new film project in collaboration with the Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw!
Post Porn Lab: peripheries of visibility / territories of resistance
Post Porn Lab is a cyclical event devoted to experimental film as well as artistic and activist practices that operate at the intersection of post-pornography, critical art, feminism, queer theory, and body politics.
The program focuses on images and narratives that function outside the mainstream of visibility —on the peripheries of normality, aesthetics, and power. The films presented explore corporeality as a field of conflict, negotiation and emancipation, challenging the dominant regimes of representation of sexuality, gender, desire, and intimacy.
Periphery of visibility is a space for bodies, practices and experiences that are repressed, stigmatized or exoticized; a space for decolonizing ideas and questioning mainstream narratives. It is also an area of aesthetic experimentation, hybrid forms and narrative ruptures.
Territories of resistance are marked by artistic and political strategies that reclaim agency over image, language and pleasure. Post-pornography is not a genre here but a critical tool — a way for dismantling norms, destabilising the visual order as well as producing new ideas of corporeality and relationships.
Post Porn Lab treats film projections as a space for communal experience, a laboratory for thinking and a platform for dialogue. Each meeting builds a temporary community of viewers and creators in the cinema, which becomes a field for renegotiating the politics of seeing, the ethics of representation and the emancipatory possibilities of visual practices.
Screenings/meetings will take place in the cinema of Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw.
First screening: March 28, 2026, 8:00 p.m.
