Post P_rn Arts Fest is a contemporary artistic narratives told in the language of visual arts centered around corporeality, sexuality, politics and biopower. We present everything that has the subversive power to change cultural-social-political reality, that seems transgressive and rebellious to us but also centers around corporeal-positive sexuality, pleasure and care for each other.
PPAF is an inclusive platform that provides an opportunity for open discussion about our bodies, about paths of evacuation from the system that oversees these bodies and the practices associated with them, shapes and determines their visibility. Not coincidentally – PPAF is rooted in local contexts: the unchanging restrictive reproductive rights for over 30 years, the lack of access to contraception in which Poland ranks last in Europe, the still limited rights of people from sexual identities other than mainstream, heterosexual pop culture….
We do not believe in cinema appropriating these identities and monetizing them in the name of rainbow post-capitalism. In general, we do not believe in capitalism. Instead, we believe in building grassroots networks of support and visibility, in the collective joy of creating and operating them. We are trying to define strategies for survival in the Anthropocene, reclaiming our bodies and supporting practices of emancipation and resistance. During PPAF, we will show decolonizing strategies embedded in the axes of tension between the global South and North, between the increasingly distant biopolitics of East and West. We will show what we find meaningful and important in the broader, postp_rnographic art from around the world.
Of course, PPAF is not only cinema screenings – it is also meetings with postp_rn artistic persons, educational panel meetings, workshops… In spaces separate from the cinema you will be able to take part in performative activities, exhibitions and parties.
We invite you to participate in the postp_rnographic rebellion!

An integral part of the festival programme will be films selected in an open call.
What kind of films are we expecting?
We value works that show original and interesting perspectives on sexuality:
Each person can submit a maximum of 3 works.
We will categorically not tolerate films that are in any way sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or racist!
Open call deadline: 15 April 2024. You will make our work a lot easier if you don’t upload videos at the last minute!
Announcement of selected films qualified for the festival: 20 April 2024
Submission deadline: 30 April 2024
Participation requires accepting the open call’s terms and conditions and completing the application form.
When in June 2023, in Warsaw, Paul B. Preciado said of the PPFFW we curated at the time:
“I would like to say that such festivals are unique.
This is a space of freedom that we ourselves_and for ourselves create, and which can disappear at any moment. Which may not be there next year.
We need to appreciate it, believe in it, and support this space we are creating – because it is incredibly fragile and could disappear any moment.”
it became absolutely clear to us that this “fragility” is worth saving and deserves to survive. This was perhaps most confirmed by the feedback from the audience – all the viewers with whom we remain in contact, with whom we managed to create a space of support and exchange of information.
The support from all the artistic people also turned out to be extremely important: for many of them, the opportunity to co-create the festival is something extremely valuable.
We thank you very much for this.
In our artistic practice, postp_rn, which we have been dealing with for many years, has become a flashpoint generating newer and newer strategies that are increasingly subversive and rebellious but also have the potential for social change. Strategies of resistance, emancipation, visibility, representation and finally pleasure. But also radical care, tenderness, intimacy and radical pride in respecting all possible sexualities and their identities.
Without this respect, we will never be able to build a community based on openness, tolerance and non-exclusion. We believe that this cultural utopia has within it the power for real social and political change. Use it – it is yours (ours), it is about you (us) and it is for you (us). And no one can take it away from you (us).

We invariably and immeasurably thank all the people without whom the mutation of the ” postp_rnographic space” that PPAF undoubtedly is, would never have happened: Agata Araszkiewicz, Weronika Adamowska, Kasia Górna, Tomek Fudala, Agnieszka Rayzacher and Jakub Wróblewski.
Warsaw 2024
Post Pxrn Film Festival Warsaw is organized by the Post Foundation, a non-profit organization established for this purpose. The Festival is funded entirely by people who believe that the festival plays an important cultural and educational role.
In the current situation, we do not have the slightest chance of receiving any help from public institutions.
If you feel the same way, please support Post Foundation – every penny will be spent to ensure that the festival space becomes an idealistic post-porn utopia with the power to change reality.
